About playing at low TV and with less games: in theory we could have Season Re-Draft implemented any day now, so freaks should get less common.
The real issue is the Black Orc roster. More or less, it sucks at any TV, especially after Bomber's ban and fouling nerf.

Tactical Takeaways-

1. Fouling Successful, but Not Until Late

So much of what we do relies on our fouling game being effective. We had multiple heavily assisted fouls in the first half, but never managed a removal. In the trash turns of the 2nd half things started coming our way, but too late to matter.

2. MV 8, Ag 2+ Runner

I've often heard in the forums that all highly developed Dwarf teams would have a Mv 8 Runner. I rarely play over 1500, so I don't get to see the "Higher Level/Game" teams often, but today I saw this Unicorn in all it's glory. We were lucky to get 2 shots at him and break armor on both, but I believe that in general this player should be near unstoppable - especially if you could get him surrounded by vanilla dwarves at even lower TV. Throw Dodge on top, and it's basically over sub 1500 with a decent knowledge of caging and screening. He could easily 1-Turn as well, potentially even easier with Slayers. Knowing that these things exist remind me of why I prefer to exist in the regular BBT 15 and less games.

3. Stand Firm - Grab, Tackle - Dodge

Our use of Grab is normally very important for us. Stand Firm by itself is normally a strong skill, but when it counters our gameplan it makes things even more challenging. Tackle takes away the dodge. Stand Firm takes away the Grab, which normally helps us a lot with positioning. This is not a good situation.

4. ST 4 + 6 Guard, vs. ST 3 + 7 Guard,

I'm sure I could've leveraged this to my benefit somehow, but we never were really able to. Standfirm played a big part in that because we were often unable to get the Guard pieces out of the way to help our blocks.
