Offensive drive goes well, as it has done against our local derby Elf team. However we do lose a couple of players to fouls along the way.
Although we are not able to make any impact in terms of removals (it is once again we make 0 casualties), our defence is a little better. Chevron, and several positionals acting as sweepers does help.
Plus, after 14 games, we finally have our first MB player. It has been a long grind. 1 more game until retirement.
Learnings:
1. Defence against elf, sweeper is necessary to mark off breakthrough players. We did better this time, and although it was a failed 3++ pass that gave us the win, we were proud that we got that far.
2. Chevron allowed more sweepers. It is a better option against agility teams. We are learning, and evolving.
3. I think where the Tackle skilled player is positioned, needs to be improved. We did identify scoring threats and attempted to shut them down, but we still let one escape to touch down range. Only the pass blown askew by Nuffle stopped it eventuating.
