A 'Blitz' after my 1:0 score and the following failed rush of a Mummy blitz on my WD before the ball was secured allowed a fast 2:0 lead in T6 of H1. I tried even to go for the 3:0 which included an (failed) Line-Elf 5+ pass attempt and left too many players in contact for his T8. This cost me a BH WD and a -AV Line-Elf. Combined with the Kill of T6 I started H2 with only 8 players on the pitch.
The second mistake was the foul attempt on the Mummy in my T1 of H2 with a send-off result and only a prone Mummy and without a defence left.In this case I underestimated the speed of his Wrights. After his T3 he was in scoring range (with 2 GFIs) and I was outnumbered 11 to 5 on the pitch. To prevent further damage I decided to run. Which could have been another big mistake, because allowing his score in T5 would give him three turns to break my drive an score for the draw. Fortunately he went for the kill (without lasting results) and only scored in T6.
With one KO return I was able to secure the ball with a Thrower, a Catcher, a WD and three Line-Elves and even gain two more passing SPP.
Dice-wise I would say dice were pretty average, but his three failed blocks, especially the double skull - which could have been rerolled - were very favourable for me.
