We are certainly out classed by a much better opponent, so it may be worth learning from what they do well? It was Coach jean-michel who inspired me to first play humans. I am tempted to re-visit now.
So.. what to learn from the humans?
1. TEAM DEVELOPMENT
Great build. The MB blitzers are a headache, and the guard Ogre and Guard blitzer basically neutralise our own guard. Blodgestep catchers, and a halfling for 1TT options.
2. CORNER ATTACK
The attack corners of our offensive line, and compress. Our dwarves are then pulled apart, and we cannot keep a defensive line on attack. We are forced up middle, and our guard advantage is split.
3. SIDELINES
Humans attack down the sidelines, and have much better movement to swing around us. I am not sure how to stop this, but it may mean stacking sidelines heavier to force move through the middle.
SUMMARY
In the end, we are outclassed by a much better opponent. The score is much too difficult to stop, and our poor positioning is exposed. We must investigate how to remedy this. It is quite hard with dwarves, and our long search for a black box win continues.
