“The game almost ended in a desaster in H1. A failed dodge with the Blitzer in T2 caused an early turn over and left me pinned to the sideline with 'surfin' potential.
A missed tacklezone during an Ogre Blitz attempt not only prevented this crowdsurfing, but also sent the Ogre in the KO box (for the rest of the game). At that point in time (T5) I was two up in numbers and he scored early to prevent further damage which allowed a counterstrike in T8 for the one all.
Poor KO return rolls caused a very unbalanced H2. With nine elves versus only six nobility players (further deduced to 5 in T3). I was able to screen and control/stall even if this caused some more removal on both sides. But the numbers were to my advantage. I scored in my T8 and he was only able to put the needed three players on the LOS in his last turn. Facing the last seven elves.
Overall I guess I was much more lucky with Armour and Injury rolls and the Ogre removal made my live a lot easier as well. On the other side I failed four of seven 2+ dodges as well. ”
