I should have scored in H1, but lost focus and concentrated on bashing instead of preparing a plan how to score late. I guess I messed it up in my T5/6 and instead of securely scoring for a 1:0 I almost ended up 0:1 if not a failed rush of the ball carrier kept me in the game. But not without paying for it: two BH during the desperate defence attempt and a banned DP left me with only nine players for H2, while his KOed Wraith came back and only the BH fouled Werewolf needed to stay in the dugout. Meaning nine elves versus eleven horrors for H2.

But not for long, because the revenge foul sent one of my elves off with a smashed knee. I tried to put all eggs in one basket in my T1 and burned three team-rerolls while trying to sack the ball carrier before the cage could form properly. Unfortunately, the 2+ pick up did not even work with one of those re-rolls. I do not know if I would have survived the counterstrike either, but now the ball was only marked by my Blitzer.

Even if I tried another 1db Blitz on the ball carrier – which was a heroic sure handed zombie – I could not strip the ball out and needed to change my plan: Column defence till the end! Which was somehow successful, since we ended up 0:0 in TD and a clear 10:5 win for the Necromantic Horrors in SPP.
