After two quick scores in H1 and only dice prevented the 2:1 for the High Elves when the Catcher tried to go for the score needing two 3+ and a 2+ dodge. While H1 was dominated by quick elvish gameplay, H2 was dominated by stalling.

The failed dodge away from the diving tackle blitzer sent High Elf catcher No1 badly hurt out, while catcher No2 was fouled to the KO box in T8 of the first half. So, a full Elven Union team received the ball for H2 facing only ten High Elves with no catchers.

A fast break at the sideline offered the option to score in T3, but here the ugly face of the game came to play. The Elven Union managed to establish a screen pocket around the ball carrier at the endzone until T8 while trying to reduce the threatening High Elf team as good as possible.

Even with the return of the KOed catcher no one turn touchdown was possible and the game ended - with half the ranks empty after the audience left frustrated - 2:1.”
