I defended the first half well. Stripped the ball late, but the crowd decided to toss it my EZ. Bad luck on the throw in, is what it is.
I had a chance to score, failed a 2 plus pick up on T7. Managed to set up a 2 plus rush, 4 plus pass, 3 plus catch to get a TD and failed, wouldnt you know it, another rush.
The second half is just gut wrenching. I need to allow myself to feel it so I'll rant for a few sentences about rushes:
13th game in a row where I always fail more rushes than my opp in spite of the fact that I rolled far less of them. I am just not allowed to rush in fumbbl. These part of the dice are just stuck on failing.
Now that that is over with, what can we take from this.
I knew in the dakka that he would dodge in with an elf for the 4 plus, 2 die. I figured I had a blodger BC and he had no skills. Even with RRs, on average im looking alright. BUT in case that didnt work out, I had 3 other gutters where the ball could bounce and they could recover.
5 block die versus the skilless elf later, and I couldnt get a knock down. That pretty much sealed it. Worlds most unlucky blackbox fumbbl player right here.
I had more of an escort break through this time which I felt good about. And any of these things goes wrong, elf dodge, the block following, even knocking the elf down later, and Im pretty in the clear to tie.
I think next time I need to keep the rogre more centralized on the dakka so I can go one way or the other. I liked have gutters at either end.
But thats about all I have for this. Knine is a great coach and happy to play him.
