But lamenting aside, lets try to take something from this:
I had a few chances at the BC on his drive. Had a rush fail on a weird single die. It was a linemen so I figured expendable - worth the shot. With the removal and his team having multiple tackle pieces - its basically a build versus AG. I still havent quite worked out a decent defense with rats. I use the rogre to pile in and disrupt a formation, but then hes vulnerable and gets removed. I might hang back with him more next time?
My offense was a little better. I used the dakka and had a decent screen. But I keep forgetting that my opponents never fail rushes when I play them on fumbbl. I miscounted the squares and probably should have placed the gutter back a square. It took some 1 dies to make that happen BUT with multiple RRs I was okay with it. I think it was the right play.
I still managed a 2 die uphill (with wrestle Im perfectly okay with). And I recovered the ball and broke free. A skilless linemen took down the blodger to pretty much seal it (1 RR needed but that was a trend for my gutters - defender down against them on ever hit).
So Im happier with it how I used the offense - at this point I just have never out rolled artemis.
Its just tough to try different things out when your opponents fouls never fail and youre left with 8 players for experimentation. ”
