“Were on a 3 loss streak to start this team - fantastic. But, a little lamenting in the beginning, and lets go over what we can learn.

Its my 3rd starting game with this team versus an AG team so its been a series of very unfortunate matchups. Im learning in the box, your beginning match ups can dictate your entire 15 game run and you cant contrl it - just is what it is.

First half is what I expected - I didnt think id ever out position skaven with a much slower team with no block and a single tackle piece. Even with taking a few players out and basing, a few 1 dies later and some skaven dodges and they scored.

A misclick stopped my OTTD opportunity. But because the ensuing foul was trip 1s, I'll take unfortunate luck where I can get it.

Second half the ball was kicked midfield and then defensive repositioning for my opp - constantly had to play behind trying to cage or screen with not enough players. I got about midfield and then started having to leave the lef in vulnerable spots hoping that he might fail a single die at some point BUT no such luck. It looked promising when the ball was stripped and the ork caught it. But I only really felt that i could hand off because a series of 2 pluses later and my vulnerable BC now has a 2 die block on him.

Some early removal made our removal even until the evry end when it didnt matter which is something I keep experiencing - just high removal against.

Takeaways

- 5th game in a row where I am the only coach that fails a rush. When will this game smile on me when I need it most? Who knows?

- I had about 3-4 in the backfield. I dont think I could have tried to position better to start the second half.

- Mino feasted, 2 dead gutters. Delicious.

- Try to go a little slower - I keep misclicking at key spots.

- I really should have out removed this team earlier with 42 blocks. I couldve controlled the game a little more if that happened. We were tied players end of the first half and on the kick off I only had a 1 player advantage. I am leaning into removal BUT its all this tas until I get other skills.

Opp was great - knew what they were doing. That was a lot of tagging - but it got them the win even if it was costly. ”
