“A game with much interest, and a pleasure to watch a master coach in Rijssiej in action.

It was another game where we are thoroughly outplayed and had very little in the way of traction or being competitive, however the true frustration was a poor tactical decision on my end.

LEARNINGS:

1. TREE

We asked in the 145, how to deal with tree. The advice came back- hit it down. It then has trouble getting back up.

We tried this, sending several players in to assist the block, but failed to move it. It then blocks us back 2db with MB and removes our mummy from the game.

Terribly frustrating, and where I lost the game. The coach Rijssiej is a master and giving an early hand like that was very poor.

2. GUARD

Rijssiej uses his single GUARD player brilliantly, and caused many headaches for us. It was only one player, but on both their attack AND our attack, it was a nightmare.

3. TV

We stuffed this up. We took an extra ghoul, which allowed the other team to induce a catcher, which we just could not stop.

SUMMARY:

It was quite a pleasure to see Rijssiej in action. Looking back at the replay, he had an answer for everything we did.

I cannot find anything we did well this game, but it is good to learn from others who are better than you. Luckily for me, that is most, but Rijssiej is on another level. ”
