“Disappointing loss. I have not found a way to overcome the blitz against woth orks. I hope one day they remove the KO result altogether - just ruins games IMO. But, lets take a look at things.
I was able to recover and cage up. But the cage stalled. I received some early removal in the first half, and my foul went horrid. I still feel it was the right play. Anything with jump up I have to make sure it cant do that to push the pile.
I rushed like a madman with 30 but thats with a low of garbage yardage at the end - just trying to eek out points for my eventual loss.
I couldve tied early with a 3 plus RR dodge blotz but no dice. I was not in a position to set up for failure on thatt urn so I just had to hope that play went well.
Had some good quick scores. Norse armor finally started behaving like it should but only when the game was out of reach.

- I will try putting 5 players in the backfield from now on for orks. One kick off result just murders the drive. I have to pretend its a blitz all the time.

- While I didnt fail a ton of rushes compared to the 30 I rolled, all the failures were in the course of 2 turns when things really went sideways. But with the very deep kick and the blitz, I took a chance to score instead of stalling and hoping to go for a draw - and look where it got me. Maybe some drives are just way too deep for slower teams and you just accept your receiving drive is going to be a draw?
