I could have stalled, but I was afraid of the goblin blitzing through the gnoblar screen. I figured - 2 turns - no thrower should be fine right with orks? Not so much.
How about a perfect kick, handoff to a goblin, and then a 2 turn score? The second half was a lot of the same. Being down an ogre for the entire second half, I managed to make it a 3 plus RR dodge for a score - not a tall ask but at least it was something. I had a 2 die ogre blitz on the BC, only to BD/BD.
Takeaways:
- Let the gnoblars handle the ball
- Opp failed a single rush with a very high 15 attempts. I was more conservative with 6 and still managed to fail more rushes. Last time I had a streak of always failing more rushes than my opp it was 15 games straight before it was broken. Since that one game, Im now at 3 games in a row failing more rushes.
- I went with 3 RRs from my last game instead of buying a 6th ogre. And while the random high removal was the end of me this game, I still think it was worth it.
Opp played great, would play again. ”
