“AAAAAnd were back on my usual loss streak. UGH. I thought I was making progress. Now I just feel like an idiot.
First half, I flubbed a defense. Or I think this was just a really bad match up. Im going more with the latter. 6 saurus and a krox could not stop 2 TGs with guard. I might look back and see if i need to set up something else. I think if I drew back, it would have just been a slower grind. I tried a cage dive to surf the carrier and failed.
I managed to tie it up before the seocnd half. A convenient KO result allowed me to position well. I spent one of my Rrs each half trying to pick up the ball which hurt. Its just frustrating when the throw ra is is just laughing at me while im rolling the 1s on the pick up.
I'm not sure what I could have done on the offense in the seocnd half. I tried tieing up his guard pieces independently with a saurus each. But they eventually hit and pushed their way together in the same pile anyways.
I saved my other RRs for a a few dodges to get free for a score, and then snake. Had a chance to sack the carrier after I tagged him, consecutive snake turn. I tried some 1 die blitzes that did not go my way toward the end. Another gut-wrenching loss.
I really try to diagnose these to look for ways to improve, but this game makes me feel like a big dummy.
Takeaways:
- Maybe settle for a draw and run away if it really looks like I cant manipulate a way through instead of using the dodges to risk it?
- Started off strong then BAM, 2 losses in a row. Very discouraging.
- I think I may just tag 2-3 saurus next time on both of the guard mummies - maybe that will stop the mummies from being able to push their wayt o where they need to go?
Opp was great, got me again.
<insert picture of skeleton> Me, by the time I actually become decent at this game.
Pickups for the throw ra were all successful on the first attempt. One day, I would like to see fumbbl khemri actually flub the ball on the first try.
