I received, moved the ball down the field in a light screen, and scored T4. The chainsaw was on the other end of the pitch failing to break anything. The ooligan did his job at removal and the BC was about where it needed to be until things got out of hand. Unfotunately, with goblins, you kind of need everything to go well to keep up and this just wasnt their day.
All secret weapons removed, and a blitz for me. I stacked a bunch of players next to the troll to prep for the throw and institute more bullying. It worked in spite of losing a bloater.
The I witnessed 2 turns back to back, double troll dumbness. This was after the doom diver sucked up all the RRs for a failed landing to KO.
I have learned in fumbbl that when you are up and have the advantage, you keep your foot on the gas and thats what I did. First 4-0 win with Nurgle for me ever, in any format.
Takeaways:
- Opp was great to chat with in spite of everything going terrible. I hope to play him again.
- Doom diver is still absolute trash. He bloats the TV for not much benefit. He doesnt even start woth dodge and when he gets it, he cant count as stunty for dodging. It was cool to see it used - always liked the idea ever since old warhammer fantasy night goblins. But ne needs some help rulewise.
- Havent decided if the ooligan is worth it. Yeah, you can build him into SG pretty quick. But thats a 90k goblin - expensive. If you secondary to DP, you get an ooligan for 60. (yeah hes got dist pres - whatever - same difference for a situational skill).
Opp was a ton of fun and it feels good be on the other side of fumbbl dice. ”
