“First half I tried where you just toss your str 4 on the line, and come back for pressure. And it worked, forced a T4 score.
I managed to score in the half and things were looking up. 2 KO zombies didnt return so I had a 1 player advantage.
But just about everything went sour at critical moments, which is the norm for me in fumbbl at this point. I tried to switch sides but I didnt count the zombie with block. I was a 3 plus pick up away from securing the ball for a winning TD, and flub. Then I could have bounced the ball to a new spot for another shot at it, and dub skull. I had a saurus desperation dodge and attempt to hit and pin the blodge ghoul, only to witness even more 4 plus dodges - no RR necessary. I suppose a 4 plus RR isnt too bad though.
Takeaways:
- I probably should have full retreated the skinks in the second half. Maybe it was greedy to try to set up for a TD.
- In spite of mispositioning, I was I had opportunities to win so I did place myself in that spot.
- When are these dice going to turn around and stop kicking me in the rear?>?>????????"
- Opp 18 rushes, 3 failures -average at least so I dont feel to boned this time on rushes comparatively. Although when I only roll 3 it would be nice to make them.
- I liked this kicking approach. It kinda works when you out muscle the opp. Im probably going to try it again.
- Lizards just get punched with positioning with undead because of 2 stand firm pieces. I try to tag and get them away but they eventually come back.
Ive been doing this to learn and I did learn some things. Im frustrated but at this point because I just shouldnt take my dice rolling to Vegas. ”
