“Well, bad luck bears hit the orks again.

First half I kicked. I had my usualy staring contest with a slow bash team until about T4. I think I let my line get a little close, couldve pulled back one square and then he wouldnt have enveloped on the top. I managed to take advantage of a tagged cage and popped the ball loose.

Second half I received, and I use the term loosely. It was a deep kick right on the side line in the rain and not near the thrower on the initial kick. Couple that with my line dub skulling and my opp was able to flood my backfield. Just a lot of early bad luck. I tried to make it game, picked up the ball, did some fluky 1 die blitzes that worked. But alas, I dub skulled on T7 on a single die block, lost the ork making the block, and he picked up theball and scored.

Its frustrating because these last minute miracles only really happen when my opposing coach has a higher rank than I. But, is what it is.

Takeaways:

- Rain plagued everyone until it didnt when I needed it most.

- Ork AV break was pretty high. Even with a MB leading that, seemed like I was fighting that battle of attrition uphill.

- I suppose I need to swet like 5 player back more because deep kicks keep ruining my drives for bash teams.
