It was a close game

First half I scored quickly with a close kick. With Khorne, I havent figured out how to propery stall. The pieces move themselves and can easily get into trouble. I'll probably look at this again, but I am not happy with the decisions I made on the first scoring drive. Opp played very well, offering wonderful frenzy traps into his guard pieces as he should. I scored on my T4.

For the opps first half score, he ran a ghoul down to make me have to deal with it. I always fear the ghoul to ghoul handoff. I kept my bloodspawn in like a reserve until his partnered guard piece could accompany him. And I think he only got blocked 1-2 times so I am happy with how I used him. Opps T 8 when it was looking like I stopped the scorce rolled some bloodbowl on the last turn 555535 I think - no RRs needed I dont think - then scored. I had a little salt about this because I keep running into these opp die rolls when theyre of a higher rank on fumbbl. But I should keep my big typing mouth shut because things can go well like they did in the second half.

My second half, our teams did that usual stare at one another until someone tags thing. Thankfully with my removal pieces, it makes this a little riskier for my opp and then I started blasting (as Danny DeVito would say).

Once I removed a few pieces, I tagged his cage. Ive learnedits okay to tag the cage once there's player advantage and I have a backfield safety. Opp attempted a one die block to get loose and skull/skull. I picked up the ball and ran with it. Opp had a chance on a 1 die blotz after a dodge and 2 rushes and failed it.

Takeaways:

- It feels good to get a win. I may be critical of my play and my dice (when I shouldnt be) but the practice is starting to show. Made a little progress here and got the right dice for it.

- Going murder centric for khorne instead of a surehands BC has made a big difference. Lean into your strengths.

- Purchasing the bloodspawn game 1 made a big difference this season versus the last as well.

- Very happy with the 2 heads choice for my ball sacker/carrier.

Opp played a great game, would def play again.
