First half I received. It was a deep kick and opp got blotz. I was dealing with a blodge wolf with just a few gobbos for a while. I managed to get the ball and run to the middle. After some fortunate KOs, I got my BC down the field. Opp made his dodge and took out the BC. Not a problem right? I have 3 gobbos down there and all I need is to not fail this blitz to get my blork involved - 1. Then we managed to hit the wraith off the ball, and failed a 3 plus pick up. Would have needed 3 plus, 2 plus, 2 plus for a score.
Second half, I used the zone coverage. Its tough for blorks because the team has 4 MA. His wolf and ghoul were always ready to receive. I managed to get near the ball and it was in a scrum for a while. After a wacky bounce he was poised for a score, but flubbed a 3 plus RR pickup. I took advantage of it, picked up the ball, and got the goblin down field. Alright fumbbl, I saved a RR for this, 2 plus 2 plus for a win - SNEK in the EZ. Its like I hit someone thats mega star or higher and this stuff always happens. What can ya do? Well, I can focus on what we learned.
Takeaways:
- If I do blorks again, Im sticking with block first, mb second. The brawler skill is just terrible, half the time you cant risk using it.
- Next time I run blorks, no more rando skills n goblins. They hardly use them and theyre just eating up TV.
- I liked the zone coverage here even with some fast enemies prowling the backfield. I dont think blorks can manage anything else. Like if I bunch them in the middle, you easily create a side cage.
- I think I found the trick is to tag with blorks and make the opp dedicate supports to hit them. Its painful, but eventually I can get the higher strength to make a difference.
Good game as always. Snek in the EZ, EZ failures on easy die rolls TWICE this game. 3+, 2 +, 2+ for the first score failed, 2+, 2+ (RR) for the second score failed. Just keep smiling - tis a game - and my luck is terrible on this platform for the most part. ”
