“First half I kicked. My opp had a cage and tried to send a few elves downfield. I eliminated or tagged them as they approached. He tried to move north and envelope but an opening was left and I got a hit on the ball carrier. After surrounding his players and relying on attrition, I got the ball and moved it down and scored. I got very lucky on 2 rushes and a hand off.

Second half, I had player advantage. But the kick and the kick off result were dreadul - onside kick followed by perfect defense. I thought I was toast. I surrounded the ball. but he managed to knock me into it and eventually the ball into the crowd. But as Nuffle would have it, the ball was thrown away form his important positionals and into the TZs of the south half of my team. I eventually screened backwards and got the score, even after a luck hit on my BC but a bounce to a pestigor with a successful catch.

Up 2-0, I allowed my opp 4 turns to score. He moved downfield with the speed. I still tried to make it hard - im practicing so always play as if the score is 0-0. He got some last turn elf trickery followed by a 6 on the pass to get a TD.

Takeaways:

- Low TV and only 3 bloaters is paying dividends in the box. This is the best I have done with any team in blackbox.

- Focusing on block/MB is great for this team. I just now picked up sure hands.

- For the most par I like my choices for this match. I didnt over-pursue.
