“I'll take an ogre draw all the days.Kind of a tale of 2 halves.

First half I received and bullied my way around the field. I managed to tarpit a few blorks around the los and sneak some gnoblars to the backfield. There was a series of successful dodges for a 1 die power. But I set up the gnoblars to recover in case that happened and we scored. Taking out the troll on the first turn was pretty huge.

Second half, more troll hate. We punched that guy in the face ad he was BH early on. I put my line of ogres close to the los. But I didnt engage until the blorks started separating and the gobos started to pick a lane. When they did, I managed to blitz the BC and knock him down. The opp then picked up the ball in 2 TZs and did a few didges. The 5 plus was a lot but im not surprised about the dodges here. I then blitzed the BC again and saved a RR for a potential failure WITH a block ogre. 6 die later and the gobo was still standing. But he was behind several ogres, lots of dodges had to be made - what could go wrong? How about making every dodge roll and getting behind some players - which is what happened. I tried to blitx the BC again and this is where I fail the 3 plus with a RR. Its always a little stingy when the opp the turn before rolled like 6-8 3 plus dodges and didnt fail a single one.

The TTM failed due to a snake on the catch.

Takeaways:

- Stunty matches are swingy. I cant get attached to thinking I have good positioning because 3 plus stunty RR dodge makes its own difficulty. All I can do is make my opp roll more of them, and like in this game, sometimes you just make all of them.

- Block ogres do work. In the future I'll be saving up for block ogres in the box instead of spending the points on guard.

- Not sure if the rookies were the way to go. I could have bought a wizard. Or cindy I think unless she got banned?
