First half I kicked and the chef was on fire, stealing every RR. Trees and trolls alike were butchering goblins and flings. I tried to surf all his players off the field, but a 1 die went wrong on the RR and I got surfed instead. After either my ball carrier or the ball itself was thrown off the pitch, te crowd gave it a good ole fling toss toward the EZ. After a few rushes and a block, I was able to score.
Second half I received. I was up a few players so I got spicy and thought, why not try to score now while I have all my RRs to do it? But if lubbed the pickup with precariously was in the backfield. After a really good goblin turn of dodges and rushes, they were threatening to take the ball in a scrum. I managed to block a few off and then run into a haphazardly made venga bus with 2 trees. The goblins crowded in, hoping to make the throw tougher or await a failed 3 plus dodge. But no such luck. I tossed the fling and he landed. This is about where the actual game ended, and we were just punching each other and trying to throw players.
For the box, this kind of matchup is a good pallette cleaner - feeld nice and light and almost haphazard throughout.
Takeaways:
- That troll murdered so many flings - the one with block - rockstar
- I like my decision to go for a quick score. That was playing the odds even if they didn't pan out initially.
- 2 hefties is really nice.
- catcher with 1- SPP dies, but TBH Im only ever going to upgrade them if they hit max and get a stat buff or maybe a dirty player/leader hefty (but that wouldnt be a catcher).
A fun match with a good coach - would def play again”
