Pregame Thoughts:

- I have almost a full roster, down a saurus. The new chorfs dont have tackle, and theres 2 fire breathers. I knew B/CL centaur would be an issue. All this being said, I felt I had the edge to start because of higher str and just as much block.

- I elected to receive, trying to push my str advantage and avoiding the initial claw hit.

First Half Thoughts:

- I feel I drove well for the first 3-4 turns. I had basically a screen. I was using the krox guard to center assists on blocking for the others and to try to single out his guard pices.

- I saw an opportunity to 2 die block and then get through his lines, while meeting the other 2 skinks I snuck around back for positioning. I failed a critical quad BD result here.

- Opp recovered, blocked down the ball carrier, and picked up with a RR on the bull. On my turn I saw an opportunity to dodgein a skink, do a one die block to push the downed saurus, and then blitz the bull with a 1 die block. But I failed the 3 plus dodge to fill in the space.

- I managed to run a few skinks back to tag the bull before scoring. I tried several 1 dies to knock him down with RR and received 4 pushes. When the opp blitzed, he made a mistake to not push the bull - could have scored here.

Second Half Thoughts:

- I set up in the chevron prescribed to me by someone earlier, and placed the guard krox in the center. First block of the game MNGd him.

- I set my pieces back to regroup, I think I was down to 8 by now because the fouler was successful.

- I attempted a few 2 die blocks uphill which allended in turnovers or failure. I preserved the RR on the last hit in case, I got my knockouts back to attempt the OTTD.

- Ended the drive with 4 players on the pitch. Opp scored and it's a bad loss.

Overall:

- Im not sure if my breakaway decision was the way to go. It was in my favor, but I didnt factor in what would happen if the 1 in a bajillion or whatever it is failed (and it did).

- I liked my turns responding to the bull running off with the ball. I sensed the urgency and took those chances instead of being conservative. And some of those chances werent even that bad.

- Firebreatehrs didnt breathe any fire. Jury's still out on those pieces because brawler stinks.

- Failing 14/26 3 plus RR dodges was too much for me to try to overcome.
