Last game for my Khorne team for this season.

Pre-Game Thoughts:

- I felt that if I received, I would have a better thance at defending as this is a removal/control team and maybe go 1-0. If not, then I was looking at a draw at best. His faster pieces will be able to make hit and run claw bites and he can either tag my guys into frenzy traps or just avoid the ones he doesnt like because they are slower.

First Half Thoughts:

- I used the chevron defense my friend showed me. Its been working a lot better because it prevents break outs, or makes them less digestible. At first I think it worked well. But when the ghoul and wolf caught up (and finally picked up the ball) and I was down 2 players, I wouldve needed the greatest dice ever to stop the score.

- The black/Claw piece on defense was just as scary wehn I didnt use it as it made certain areas onces my opp would avoid.

- I think I needed just one more guard piece on this team from the st 4 guys. I know how to avoid a frenzt trap BUT the thing is when youre tagged into a trap, youre forced to do nothing.

- I think I couldve moved back some maybe. Im not sure if that wouldve made a difference?

Second Half Thoughts:

- Removal was on point, Claws/MB/big guy, and even a MB khonagor removed some players.

- In the intial scrum, the opp tagged all my players. So I either moved pieces from the cage to get 2 die blocks or started playing against the odds with single die blocks. I know I chose the former, which led to the ball carrier being sacked the first time.

- Ball carrier was almost sacked again after 2 1 die blocks. Im noting that here because Im not sure quite how move a khorne team up the pitch safely. The pieces start to get lost or tagged on failed frenzy blocks.

- Attrition in this half made all the difference, thats and a failed blodge wolf dodge. Our pieces that were supposed to dodge were not dodging (either of us).

Overall Thoughts:

Happy with a draw as I did not receive. This is a decent khorne record and I think 1 more win than my previous season with them so - progress!

Coach was fun to chat - would def play again.
