“Brutal game, where the fire dwarves show us the way of the fist.
We suffered many blocks, and a great deal of armour broken. KO returns were few and far between.
The only solace was the removal of a Bull Centaur, off our own failed block. This was mitigated by the RIP of our blodge ghoul who was 1db POWed into death.
Learnings:
1) PROTECT
Protect positional players better. The death of the ghoul at the end was preventable. A waste of a skilled up positional.
2) BENCH
Having a bench is handy I think. This game could well have been a loss as we were always on the back foot with numbers.
3) GHOUL AGGRESSION
Having 3 ghouls allows us to use them aggressively, which is the best way to use them.
BUT... blodge is a fake skill. Our best player only played 3 turns this game. KO in T2, then killed in T16. They are not built to last, and best not grow attached to them. ”
