3x blodgers is not fun. 7 skill necro vs 2 skill orc is not fun. TV is the same, but there is nothing that can be done against such a team.
We were on the back foot the entire game, never able to get into safe position to score, and our ball is easily sacked.
With 3x blodgers we were never able to get dice on the necro ball carrier, and even if we could its just luck hoping for a pow.
Learnings:
1. PRESSURE
The necro throw zombies and golems in our face, and wait for us to fail the blocks, which we do. Good pressure, and we could not make the ball safe.
2. LOCK DOWN
Golems do not move, armour does not break, they lock down our players and it is no chance of moving through them.
3. BLODGE
We are an unskilled team, and have no tackle. Against a triple blodge team that can move quicker, we have very little chance to compete. We could not protect our backfield and it is penetrated easily, even when up on numbers.
This proves to me that this environment is all about min-maxing and gaming the system. RRR and league games are much better IMO and a fair representation of the game.
STUFFED UP:
1. H2 T4
Turn 4 of 2nd half I should have organised a blitz on ball. Would not have found a pow I am sure, but could have applied pressure.
Ownership. Outplayed, AND poor coaching. Deserved loss.”
