“What a lecture. Lost to a much better coach and had never the feeling to act, but more to react.
Two major mistakes I already identified:
T3 of H1: The attack in the MB Blitzer did not bring any result but left me desperately out of position. Better solution could have been to roll the Blitzer back behind the prone MB Wight surround him with 5 Linos and my Blitzer while setting up a screen north of the scrum to protect the ball carrier. Foul anyway with 5 supports. The following T3 was even worse!
T6 of H1:
Maybe a sidecage in scoring range with one Ghoule and both Blitzers marked would have been a better solution.
As a general remark to the game I feel I used RRs far too easy and far too many of my players got marked far too often.
No idea yet what I could have done on defence with so many players leaving the pitch. Any remarks highly welcome!
“Thank for the kind words, Chris. I guess I'm good, but not sure I'm THAT good :)
Anyway, playing vs Undead is rarely an easy task.
And playing vs Undead with a brittle team (like Pro Elves) is NEVER an easy task.
You made indeed some mistakes here and there (you're smart, you noticed the main ones).
I would add that you should have played your offensive drive à la Skaven : score a quick TD (in 2 or 3 turns), and then put all your forces into an agressive defence in order to steal the ball and to score a 2nd TD before the 1st half ends.
Another idea for your next RRR; if you want to play Elves, play Darkies. 4 Blockers and Av9 allow to avoid high attrition ;)
Cheers,
Doc'M”

Nevertheless a nice game against a great coach.”
