A total of 13 casualties, insanity.
Learnings:
1. VOLUME
This is, roster volume. The advantage of having reserves. In this game, we take 13 players, and needed every one of them.
We are not experienced with Norse, but they seem fragile if we play them the way we do- poorly compared to others, I suspect. Reserves needed.
2. SNOTLINGS
They can dodge anywhere. Unless snake eyes hits them, but we can't bank on that.
Although, we did fail a 59% chance of dodging through to score, courtesy of an early snake eyes. It does happen.
But, snotlings, they do go pop, eventually. We did look to target them, which helped us as the game progressed.
Summary:
Not sure of the biggest mistake I made was. I imagine it would be leaving too many AV8 things in base contact with MB Ogres.
Joost played these Ogres really well. I'd be inspired to try them, but I am no Joost, and would not do them justice.
This game was a lucky draw in reality, and our block skill helped to remove snotlings, as did the OT which suits attrition.
Lucky. We were out-coached and out-positioned here, with Nuffle holding our hand for much of it.
