“A celebration of Halfling Blood Bowl tonight as Isumbras Underhill played his last match for the Boys.

Brought in against the Donuts were the much feared Sewer Pipe Dream, who in their day were terrifying teams in the main SWL Divisional structure, but are now semi-retired in the QPool. Still with their big Rat Ogre and pace, this would be a big challenge for our little champs.

The game kicked off in front of 76,000 fans, some skaven even wearing green donut t-shirts with Isumbras' face printed on them, and the Boys received the kick.

With the trees too busy signing Isumbras' Farewell Card, the 10 Flings formed a cage (LOL!) and charged up the right flank. Much carnage ensued and the cage was easily scattered but in the confusion, Greenhand broke away. He was chased, brought down, but got up again and dived over in the corner - 1-0 to the Boys!

The Dream received but were beaten back by a swarming defence and the half ended 1-0.

The Dream though received again, but their big Rat Ogre was felled by one of Mrs Underhills Pumpkin Scones and he left the field in a daze.

With the ruck exposed, the Dream were forced into a pass in which Ulfo Took the defensive specialist stepped in and knocked the ball down. Another scramble... and big tree Rootstrong Ironbark picked up Took and tossed him down for a 2nd score. 2-0!

With only pride on the line, the Dream again failed despite clearing the field and despite a desperate 3d against block from Isumbras (showing off in his last match) the Dream got a pass away. Unfortunately it was fumbled as time expired and the Boys ended the day ahead on the scoreboard.

The Donuts were broken out and shared with their worthy opponents as the sun set on a fine day....”
