“First half I tried a lot of guard hugging. I really thought I could boss the other team around. But turns out, you just succeed a bunch of 1 dies and now all my dwarves are on the ground. T6 or 7 of the first half I was a snake away from a score, which probably would have been a draw for this match.

Defense was lagging. I managed to pressure the early, but thats about it. Ive noticed that with a minimal dwarf build, once a few linos are in a zone, they are basically dedicated to it. Like I cant really do the field shuffle to match which wing the opp is going to use. Its like my only answer is to tag to make it so less pieces can do that shuffle. I'll have to think on this.

I tried some fluky passes to draw, but they didnt work. I didnt expect them to, okay with me.

As for dice, rush attempts continue to plague me. A third of my single die results are 1s, my opp rolled 2 1s in 23 dice - can we trade? lol My AV rolls and INJ rolls were all very below average but we all have games like that. IM glad it happened here witht his team - the worst bunch of my current box team.

A snake away from a draw, or a few failed 5 plus passes/4 plus catches away from a draw (desperation doesn't really count though), and a good conversation with a coach while playing. A good day with bloodbowl. ”
