I thought sweltering hear would play a factor, but it only removed 1 player. It aways picked a saurus for me so it's fair to say it affected me more.
I elected to kick which was the right choice I think. I got a blitz, but the ball position wasnt great so I wasnt too excited. I based a few elves to force dodges. I made sure to do this as much as possible. Opp scored on T6 I think, which gave me time to try to get a draw before the half. This part of the game im pretty happy with. 2 plus AG is king in early game and its not a good match up for early lizards. Just egtting a chance is a good step.
A very unlucky failed reroll to pick up the ball led to an elf TD. I put some lizards around the ball, but with 8 players trying to block the LOS from elves coming through, not much I could do about that.
Id put more in the back, but then Im not setting up for a potential blitz. And if I dont do that against elves, the game is basically over. So I might think on my set up, but I dunno, I think thats the best choice I couldve made.
I received and put myself in position to score, but failed a rush in the EZ. It looks like a lot of rushes. But when im behind and trying to extend plays to catch up, I kind of have to.
At 44 blocks, 50% pushes and 2 injury rolls of 8 or higher, extremely below average.
Opp played a great game and took advantage of some really poor dice on my part. Definitely took FULL advantage with a 3-0 score so very well done. When youve got the dice, FEAST on spp - never know when your next meal is slim.
As usual, I just do poorly with lizards in the box. Its tough starting unless I get great matchups because of 1/9s.”
