On my scoring drive, my opp snaked an early rush. All the other pieces were out of position. It allowed me to hide in a corner and force a lot of dodge rolls and a few uphill blocks. Sicne they werent successful, it was kind of just feeding me spp for a few skinks removals. But, what else do you do at that point? You just kinda hope for something to roll well which made sense. So kudos to my opp for making the best out of a bad situation after the snake.
In 61 blocks, I think the removals make sense. It's a little low, but im not complaining.
Any game where khemri picking up the ball isnt an issue is a good game for me and thats what I had today.
I had a chance to stop my opps drive and Im really happy with a crodw push I took advantage of. I didnt get the dice to take him down. But I putmyself in that position.
My opp tagging my safeties with skinks was a really good move. For the most part, it allowed a side screen to develop. And he had a few to spare.
I mistakenly set up my big guys on the line. I was considering another set up, and then shifted to zone coverage, and then forgot to swap out the front 3. Call me a big dummy for that mistake. I gotta take a little more time setting things up.
I recognized a hold in the middle and punch a way through. I knew I couldnt stop skinks from dodging and getting in my grill but I tagged and got in front of them as much as possible. Eventually the stunty magic gas tank ran empty at the end.
Very well played by my opp. I made some of my own mistakes absolutely. Just gotta keep learning to go SLOWER on the set up and watch the tunnel vision on key blitzes.
Opp played very well. Appreciate the game, as always. ”
