“48% 2D6 Av rolls at 6 or less, Khorne is NOT pleased. Dont take me to vegas.
Spinball is an awesome coach and absolutely deserved that win.
First half was Khorne grinding it out until the very last turn. It sounds good, but when you cant break anything and everything else is breaking Khorne - lets just say my durability is not my strongsuit. Opp positioned a few pieces into frenzy traps. But I countered by frenzying backwards into other blocks. I was pretty happy with that. Overall, a decent opening drive. I just lost way too many pieces.
Opp was one space away from a OTTD attempt. With only 8 players I think, I didnt set up any lines behind the OTTD possibility. I feel like when you dont have enough to stack, you just have to make a line in the back and prey.
Second half, opp was able to base the right players and got me on removal again. this SHOULD be the weakness of norse but not this match apparently. It was a good screen that led to a TD. But it was early and gave me a few turns.
I got all my KOs and things looked good. I needed one rush to work so I could get a 2 die block and push from the top. I saved my RR for that possible failure. And I got bit by the snake. I tried a few other fluky things, dodges and what not, to get the ball out but blodge valk plus stupid amount of dodging to do gave the failure I was expecting at that point.
Really sad to lose this one. If my removal was anywhere close to average then I finally get a win against spinball in the box. Ah nuts. ”
