I liked my crowd push on the defense and the tagging in the cage. I was able to strip the ball twice. It just so happens that on every sack, the ball bounced into a norseman that caught it. Not much I can do there and I think after those constant successes, theres only much re positioning I can do to try to get the ball back.

I set up to maybe get some hits on T8, double BD, end turn.

Opp then got a blitz, literally nothing can go wrong for him. But I did set 2 in the widezone because I always kinda of try to set up as if its going to happen. Opp did catch the ball, after the intended receiver failed on a bounce - notice the trend? But I was able to sack it. Theres was a scrum next to the sideline. I think I had to sack the ball once or twice here.

I had 2 turns end almost immediately after this on a BD/BD and a skull/skull. I tried some desperation plays and I even had 2 attempts to sack the carrier again - failed a 2 die block with a RR and then a 2 die block in my favor with a BD/BD.

I was always in a position to take the game or at least draw, I had plenty of opportunities to take the ball and took them, but I either failed the sack or succeeded and watched it bounce into a norsemans hands.

Tough game to sit through but Im pretty happy with my choices overall. Pretty decent debut for never playing zons before. ”
