“This game was absolutely hilarious and worth a rewatch.

Goblins got pretty lucky and began to dominate in the first half. But there was so much batshit zaniness on both sides — multiple intercepted bombs, freak double-skulls in the worst moments, an utter inabilty for the goblins to dodge. And the lizards did not give up! Although This Will Not Soon Be Forgiven was able to score a defensive TD in the first half, the second half saw the return of of the Cold Bloods to their full numbers, and things quickly became unraveled as their greater strength was put to bear. Many, MANY times we thought we were in the clear, only to be thwarted again by our own incompetence, then swing back to success, only to fail again. In the end, the goblins failed a 2+ hand-off in the endzone on turn 15, and the next two turns saw the lizards——with a single skink remaining on the pitch——recover the ball, and bring it nearly the entire length of the field in the game's final moments. Cold Bloods missed the (well-deserved) game-tying TD by a single die roll.
