“I receieved and I like some of the decisions I made. I could have pushed the thrower through earlier. But when I got a dwarf KO and injured the runner, I decided to rely on more players and higher str to drag it out another turn or 2. For the most part it worked. IN the past I would have gotten antsy and pushed forward too soon.
The snake in the EZ for my score sealed my half. I was able to have a chance to reciver the ball but it bounced unfavorably. Then dbl BD for my last block.
Second half was all dwarf. I lost a skeleton in the opening, failed the KO for my TG. And then the opp proceeded to remove a player every other turn. I know I tried a few things differently, like daring the opp to throw 2 die uphills. I was down players so I figured if I was going to get an in, maybe I rely on one of those finally not working. I think he failed one of those the while match. Very early in the secon, down to 8 players, I did not have enough players to column so I was forced to hit, tag, and hope something would turn around.
I'll maybe try something later, possibly set up. Maybe dont go with big 5 and instead cover zone because I am not ahead? I just didnt want the dwarves to swarm on wing early and knock down a TG 1 square away from the sideline. I'll have to think on this.
Super disappointed, absolutely diced in the second half. Opps AV rolls on 8 or higher was 48%, cmon fumbbl, where my averages? I was hoping this would be my ticket to lead khemri in the box but very wrong time and crap game - happens.
Regardless of the dice, I like how the opp always was able to blitz a slayer so that more than 2 TG were tagged on the ground. I couldnt get them forward to help except on like turn 7 I wanna say when I rushed twice. Very well piloted in spite of a one-side game against me, good job to my opp! ”
