But let's take what we can.
First half I set up against the blitz. Even with a deep kick I have to, otherwise the game is over before ti started especially against elves.
I got the ball and built a cage, while keeping a scrum in the middle. I was really hoping the MB would do a LOT more damage. At 52 blocks, it really should have BUT a fifth of my block die are skulls. I just couldnt land a majority of them.
At one point I could have decided to wrestle down instead of take a push which led to the 1 die blitz. But I figured an unskilled 1 die blitz, if it fails, maybe I finally get some forward momentum. Rolled the dice and failed that one, ball popped on a 1 die. There was some recovery back and forth, but ultimately the elves just recovered and scored easily.
I forced harder than 2 plus dodges which I like. At least some of the positioning was good to make that happen. But only failing 5x 2 pluses in 40 attempts and 1x 3 pluses in 8 attempts - like I said - rolling like a legend.
My av rols and INJ rolls were about par, a little on the low side. The issue was all the skulls really.
Maybe I cant always set up versus the blitz and I have to gamble that it wont happen? I dont really know. Playing versus AG teams at this TV is just the opposite of fun - they can just do whatever they want. I know they were basically all in my backfield and cut off the rest of the team which is huge. I just dont know how to avoic this without throwing the game from some stupid blitz.
Opp played great, took advantage of a mistake-less game. It was very well done. ”
