“The third battle of the Legion took place under the sunny sky of the wastelands.
This time, our proud Khorne warriors were up for a difficult matchup against the Malal daemons. Without telling the team, a wizard was hired to try and blow up our opponents.

The Chorus received first, and the line held well.
After two passive turns where Aghond, Bringer of Death didn't wanna attack the malal drones because, i quote, 'these ugly creatures don't deserve my might', Kragbon showed him the way and removed two opposing players back to back, including the Harvester of souls (Both regenerated unfortunately).
Malal tried to fight but lost the uphill battle in the middle of the pitch.
On top of that, the wizard chose this moment to cast his good old fireball.
The cultists failed to blitz the ball carrier but the Malal position was not good enough to keep it safe and after a few turns of mess we prevented the doomed daemons to score.

0-0 and 11 vs 11 on half time, the Legion was receiving.
Once again, the foul stench and ugliness of the drones protected them quite well and the Legion barely advanced in the first turns.
And when we finally launched ourself in the battle, the soul reavers replied with precise hits on our warriors. Quickly, we got outnumbered and had to fall back.
But it was only a strategic manoeuvre ! The Legion hurled itself back into the field and positionned themselves in scoring range on turn 7.
The Doomed Chorus tried to come back to defend but it was too late, and after a few blocks, Elaraz managed to score the winning touchdown !

With this last win, the possibility of winning the conference is alive. We will show everyone the might and wrath of Khorne and his daemons !
