“This has been a big learning thing for me for Zons. Ive never played the new ones really, these are my first few games with them.

First half I set it up so that the thrower would be part of the screen and the blitzer would catch the ball. BUT failed the pass and the thrower was sacked right after. It looked like Norse would steal. But the blitzer did some 1 die blotz magic to take the ball. I think it was a weird 3 plus dodge and 4 plus pick up for the score or something like that, def some rushes.

Opp had 2 turns. His first blitz was a dub skull so very lucky for me.

Second half, I got a blitz and applied the pressure. I was afraid of the 2 valks passing or handing off between one another so I pressured the one on the bottm more. But it led to a screen on the top. I made the move to save a safety, and when I used the safety, SNEKS on the rushes. Man, I feel like the only person in fumbbl with unreliable 2 pluses. Just a bias though, just a feeling, like getting crabs.

Opp gambled on stealing, esp with 2 RRs pocketed, no players out, it was a good gamble. I had 5 knocked out I think. But I managed to get 10 players. It was a struggle to get the ball in the opps half but I did get there. I liked my moving 2 back on his valk late in the game. I considered blitzing the valk and just giving up on the score BUT those pieces didnt have block. So I wouldve run the risk of a push and then the val only needs one dodge after a long pass.

I failed 6 die blocks on the pig which was critical. I tried a 1 die block bliz which worked, but I failed the pickup before getting a chance at a dodge for a TD.

As for dice, one of those one sided affairs in some placed. OUt of 12 injury rolls, a single injury roll was above an 8. Opps injs were pretty average I think, like 34 percent 8 or over. Opp only rolling 3 ones for single dies in 39 dice is awesome, 1s were a 5th of my single dies. As the zon player with dodge, I was the only player to fail a dodge??? Goodness. I never put dice in to complain about them - we get what we get and averages only truly make sense over a very long period of games. But for perspective on decision making and things like that, I have to keep them in mind so I know what not to over-correct.
