I thought with the rain and my choice, that kicking was the best option. Theres no MB on the team, just a claw to get through AV. My blorks should be able to stand around and take a hit. Buy was I wrong. Lost a blork to a zombie block or something on T2.

Its not all unlucky. I got a 1 die block to stop the TD on my defense. I liked that I recognized the need right there and made that decision. Issue with that was I only had 8 players left because the opps removal was off the wall.

Opps wolf was going crazy until I knocked it down and fouled it. It was killing whatever it touched so even with down players and fouling, I feel the foul was the right move. This was one of those "read the room, gut" kind of moves when you just see a long string of removal and have to go deal with the source. Dont get me wrong, claws are nice and frenzy with claws for a second chance. I fully expected some AV to be broken. But its not supposed to be an auto cas right after.

On my reception, deep kick, rain, PLUS blitz. But I did set up for the blitz with crowding the wings. I could only do it so much though with only 8 players. I had a good turn of removing things and tried to turn it around. But it was too little too late. The failed goblin dodges were a huge issue - failed over half of my 3 plus rerollable dodges - oof. Im still ok with the blitz and dodge attempt though. I was still near a goblin in case he went down (and he did). And if he didnt, the wolf was down. A few dodges to the wraith with some other gobos to tag and were looking at a successful drive. I was in that position in spite of the removal so I feel good abut that.

Opp def dedicated the ghoul to pick the ball up and the wolf to blitz. In a necro team, thats a good move. I think you eally have to assign jobs since each piece is so specialized. So good move for my opp.

So - loss to dicing removal and way below average 3 plus dodge attempts. I'll take it. If we won everything we thought we were supposed to win, it wouldnt be fun. Besides, were gambling, no ones supposed to have nor deserves any outcome in this game.

First loss with these guys and it stinks. ALMOST had a no loss record for the first time. Oh well. Onwards to other things.”
