The woodies stole the ball with a cage dive early in the first half which resulted in the undead going totally bonker, focusing on fouling the two wardancers five turns in a row. For a moment it looked like the other would die, but the elven apoth (damn his soul forever) saved him from becoming a zombo. The other just ko'd but came back. Meanwhile the undead lost two players to the few blocks the woodies were making and another two on the ref. So second half looked like a walkthrough for the woodies with 10vs9. Well it wasn't as all those armour/injury rolls started to magically go through and we removed one or two players each turn. A regular powfest! The woodies retreated, but after making a desperate lunge, the single wardancer succumbed to a blitz and the ball fell close enough for the one remaining ghoul to take it home on turn 8. Quite a dicing on the second half, then again the woodies did escape with basically nothing from what could have been a brutal first half. I hope fxii's not too crossed about not winning this one (I would be;). Always a pleasure doing business with this gentleman. ;)”
