“Just another bizarre game with weird stats and turns.

I received and kinda moved a cage with the trees until one decided to root I think? I had a realyl back block with a RR that failed on T5. I think I would have been safe if that had been made. But, player was blocked down the turn after.

The ball bounced to my player and I caught it - looking up. Then I tried to stall till the last turn. If he didnt have any RRs, I would have scored T7. But lately Ive just been getting opps that make 6 plus passes all the time so I guess I got spooked into trying to stall. It ended up biting me because a bloater dodged into a TX, and then itno the Open, and then 2 rushes to get to the Ball carrier.

Maybe Im letting past games start to dictate me in superstituous ways. I could have scored and given nurgle 2 turns left in the half. Ill have to think on this.

Second half The flings and nurgle danced around each other and tried for sniper blitzes and fouls to try to get the edge. In the last few turns, the nurgle removals were finally kicking in and he got the score. I had like 4 players I think.

Super disappointing, if only my flings could dodge like his bloaters.

Biggest difference was being ejected 4 times - ridiculous. And trees rooted or failed rushes on each of the turns where they really needed to make them.

Flings went pretty murder crazy, had a real good start. I just needed the ref to get off me when im doing it.

As for dice:

I had less blocks and I was the only player that failed a block.

Opps inj rolls against my guys were low and there were a lot of pushes.

I rolled more 1s than anything else which hurts versus foul appearance and needing some rushes to go my way.

Opp only failed half their 4 plus dodges and 5 plus dodges, while my flings with 3 plus RR dodges failed over 1/3 of them.

Maybe looking at this, I should have just scored early. I really didnt see that bloater making it to hit the carrier but my dice are never that magical. Maybe next time I just assume thats whats going to happen and hope for a good kick off instead?

Opp played great and did what he needed to do to put himself in a position to win. Second half was more him navigating the field better than I (although with 2 rooted early trees both rooted on the same turn, its an easier task). ”
