1. Casualty Snowball
Turn 1 I was able to remove 2 Black Orcs. Basically from there that advantage just got stronger and stronger. Down players my opponent had to leave Goblins exposed, and thus the snowball. Generally I'd consider Black Orcs not a great match-up for Dwarves, but taking out 2 ST4s turn 1 leveled that playing field quite a bit early. Wish I could say there was some strategy involved, but no, just got lucky rolls.
2. Troll Throw Scares
Crazy how the threat of the troll throw really changes the perspective on defense. My opponent nearly pulled off a score even with all the number disadvantage but had one scatter go the wrong way. Something to be aware of to mark the Trolls if it becomes clear that that is the only viable out.
3. Fouling Anxiety
I've played Black Orcs as my main for the majority of my time playing Blood Bowl, and I haven't often experienced the feeling of my own players being sucked back into the roil to be gang fouled. Really changes the mindset about marking up heavily. Also start to appreciate the usefulness of grab.
