“Looks like I gotta restart the iron thing again.

First half I received. There wasnt anything "crazy" positioning-wise. it felt like a fairly standard match. Ive never played Khorne V flongs before so jumping a bunch of guys inside the scrum, and pushing a few past the trees was kinda cool. I was always looking for the push chains to avoid those things.

I stalked until T7, and opp with no RRs and in the rain gets an OTTD. Kinda makes up for the past 2 turns where his trees BD/BD themselves like twice in a row.

Second half, still raining, I managed to get in and stand next to the ball. But the opp finally picked it up and ran off with it. It was kind of a coin flip to see who would pick it up on a 4 first and he did it after a few tries. I sacked the carrier TWICE and both times, he picks up in the rain with no RRs needed.

Fairly back and forth, but dice favored the flings when he needed them most.

As for dice:

Khorne had a whopping 67 blocks and only succeeded 19, wher ethe opp had 44 and succeeded 22 blocks. Ouch. I know theres dodge and that attributed to some of it. But this is still heavily fling favored.

Of 67 blocks, Khorne rolled for AV 29 times - I think even with dodge thats a little low, but its not crazy. The INJ rolls are very heavily fling favored though 14 - 16 in spite of that many more blocks on the khorne side.

Opp played well, got the win with a good throw and some rain pick ups at the end there in critical turns.

Looking back, I had a bad turn late second half, I rolled like a BD/SKULL, then SKULL/SKULL and it let the opps flings kinda get out of that middle and run rampant. I probably should have blotzed with the gore, knowing I had no RRs. I even remember thinking that - I dunno - just made a poor choice for no reason. Gotta keep that in mind.

Starting Khorne is rough, esp versus flings that have a few game sin der their belts. ”
