I elected to kick and I was okay with the quick score. It required some rolls, but when you have vampires with stacked pro and 5 RRs, its like they barely need their meat bags.

I got the ball and tried to move it up. I kind of did a stacked cage for as long as I could. But its an inevitability to lose the ball. When I did I had a good chance to recover it in the rain with a RR and failed my pickup. His thrower picked it up, threw, caught by a thrall, no RRs needed. This is really where everything swung one way. I dont know what I would do differently. I think I was down a zon or 2, his players never left the field (I rolled an 8 or higher on removal 4 times out of 24 inj results - incredibly low). So he wasnt even having to deal with attrition.

I got my score to bring it up to 1-2 with a few turns left. His block on the reception soaked a few RRs so I thought maybe I might have a chance to draw. But alas, couold not pick up in the rain and I could not get him to fail a critical dodge roll.

Always a fun game with Bel. I get waffle stomped regularly. I had a fluky lizard game where I got a win earlier.

As a player that likes defense, I hate playing against vampires. Theyre way too good, especially since the best defense agaisnt them is to crowd the ball enough so that when they inevitably strip sack it might bounce to a good spot. ”
