“Second match of the summer tournament for the Legion.
After the last defeat, our warriors were eager to redeem themselves in the eyes of Khorne.
And what better opportunity to do it than a good old fight against some angry dwarves ?

Coming from their frozen hole, the warriors of the north started with only 11 players on their roster and spent their money on a bribe.
They brought the blizzard with them and decided to give us the initiative, for our pleasure.
Aghond, Bringer of Death, started the battle by sending a dwarf to the infirmary and Rhardrak followed with a knock-out !
The dwarves tried to defend and stand together. Rhardrak was knocked out but most of the northerners were spending their time stunned around the pitch, if not worse.
Aghond, Bringer of Death was unleashed and earned his first offical triple X by turn 4. The rest of the offence was a formality and our ball expert Elaraz scored on turn 8.

Coming back for the second half, Minimorg's warriors were outnumbered 8 vs 11.
We aren't exactly known for our disciplined defense but still, the odds were looking good.
With a very good kick, the ball was next to the middle line, totally open.
The norse dwarf runner absolutely needed to secure it but the forsty ball just slipped through his fingers.
Without hesitation, several khorne warriors positionned themselves next to the ball and Elaraz managed to take it right under the nose of the opposing runner !
Oliver the fast Ulfwerner failed to blitz our star and Elaraz could advance easily again.
In the middle of the pitch, the battle was still going strong. Our Daemons were bravely resisting, but on turn 4 the dwarves took down our two bloodletters : the young Rhardrak was just knocked out.
Unfortunately, Idruth did not have that chance : he was fouled to death by the puny runner, the same one who let the ball slip to us. He tried to reshape himself but ultimately failed and went back to the chaos domain of Khorne.
Elaraz scored just after.

The last kick was deep and the dwarves didn't even manage to get their carrier into our part of the pitch.
Ingugan and Elaraz caught him before he could really advance and Elaraz let his promising mate score the third touchdown of the match.

A decisive and bloody 3-0 victory, but tarnished by the death of Idruth the Skinshaper to a lowly foul. Idruth was our first player to get the triple X achievment, hopefully the new recruit will be even better !
