“It was the first match for the poets, artists and writers. Now it was time to take out their misery on other people ( that is people who didnt read their books and poems anyway). They started out a little puzzled and confused about the strange surroundings but that was nothing compared to the opposition.
Poor Staffans forgot to feed his vampires before the game and in the second half they constantly chewed at their thralls. Despite that and that Hemingway killed one of the two vampires the Artists couldnt make a td. Mostly because of the suicidal couple Sergei and Hart who just kicked the ball around instead of picking it up.
But the overwhelming numbers of Artists proved to much for the Vampits in the second half. Their thralls was so depressed by the frightful team logo of the Artists ( The Scream by Edvard Munch) and had headaches after all the philosofical discussion taking place on the pitch so they refused to leave the KO-box.
Directing the game as it was one of his pictures - Ingmar Bergman became the MVP and become more agile. You really can´t believe that when you see the old man.
Good luck with your vampires, Staffan. But these guys have faced much worse demons then that. Their own agony.”
