“The match was definately a close one. Norse trying to do what Norse do best, smash things.
The first touch down came right at the end of the first half. The norse had posession of the ball, but couldnt keep it and the High Elves scored.
With the last turn, the Norse tried to blitz to cause casualties but came to an end pretty shortly.
The second half, the Elves kicking. The Norse caged in around their ball carrier down on the bottom half of the field, while a lineman, and 2 blitzers were in the top half. Slowly moving forward due to tackle zones and the elves just dodging away. The star Blitzer was taken out by a foul! The other Blitzer growling foul play promptly slaughtered a elven thrower.
The cage moved forward slowly, until the 7th turn. An opening occurred because of the rogue blitzer who killed the thrower behind enemy lines. A Blitzer, Lineman and the Thrower with the ball made a run for the opening. The rest of the team beat back the elves, while one lineman blitzed to go back and help defend the ball carrier. Wouldn't have mattered as an overconfident elf got himself struck down by the Blitzer, and the Ball Carrier ran to the End line.”
