“It was always going to be a struggle for the High Elf team "High Society" to compete in a game of strength... however, they're agility, and the performance of the Earl of Newport could well have swung the odds a little towards their favour.

With Hoof the Ball receiving, they ground out a TD, but not before the crowd took a disliking to Count von Welden, who sat the whole game out without doing anything more than take to the field.

However, coach Wotfudboy was impressed with the fluid defence of the elves as they held off the dwarf advance, and even countered with some hits of their own. In fact, by the end of the game, both teams achieved 2 inflicted casualties each.

Zapp was in the right place at the right time, and was able to secure the 2nd TD from a hand off safe in the knowledge that the game was pretty much finished.

However , the Earl of Newport had either ideas, racing up the touchline with the ball. Despite being blitzed by one of two hobgoblins (one of which caught the ball that fell from his hand), he managed to get back up, blitz the hobgoblin, pick up the ball in a tackle zone and dodge away again to make a consolation TD.
