“A very weird and fun game for the Cthulhuites that, barring Telshazz's great luck and the game-long Blizzard would have been much less one-sided, especially in the second half. The game started out with two BH's against in the first turn, and went downhill from there. The half ended scoreless, but with two Spawn lounging in the KO box I was down to seven, and then a string of BHs (and one SI) left me with only 4 to try and equalize after the go-ahead by the Deadites. Not fun.
MVP for the match was Dagon, who was carried off the pitch on turn one after a hit by one of the mummies. He made it through ok, but niggled on the age roll, which means that once Azathoth comes back from injury, he will have to find a new day job. As for my pick, I felt that newcomer Keziah Mason deserved the nod for smashing a hapless ghoul waiting ariound for a pass in the Cthulhuinian endzone, and thus almost certainly preventing a firat half Deadite TD. The Fungi from Yuggoth skilled up due to a casualty, and he reports that he feels stronger than ever, and that trying to hit mummies did him some good.
Income sucked yet again, though at least the fans are sticking around. I WANT to get that third Blitzer, but I think I NEED a fresh Lineman...
Telshazz was great fun to play, even with his freakish luck. I basically consider any game with a luck differential of 10 or more a writoff anyway, but I will definitely play him again.
